Nilson and Amelia do everything together.
Nilson和Amelia每天都形影不離。
Except for baths.
除了洗澡的時候。
Because Nilson is afraid of water.
因為Nilson害怕水。
It‘s all fun and games，but sometimes all it takes is a tiny bump.....
[他們一起玩游戲玩得很開心，但是有時候，還是會出現(xiàn)一點小碰撞。
and Nilson throws the biggest. most house shaking-est fit ever！
Amelia不小心碰撞了Nilson的小積木，Nilson很生氣，于是就吼出的嚎叫，連屋子都在搖動了。
So big，they BOTH get a time-out.
如此大聲，他們2個都進入冷戰(zhàn)時期。
Sometime Amelia tires to help Nilson when he starts to get upset.
有時候，當(dāng)Nilson開始覺得郁悶的時候，Amelia就盡力幫他變得開心點。
“No fits，Nilson！” she’ll say
“Nilson，不可以這樣的�！彼龝f。
“We‘re having banana pancakes for breakfast！”

Banana pancakes make Nilson forget all about his fit.

After breakfast，It’s time to help Amelia’s mom.

But Nilson wants to stay home.

“No fits， Nilson！ Amelia says，

“This is an ADVENTURE， not errands！”

Nilson is perfectly behaved at the grocery store.

But he is ready to burst while they‘re waiting in line at the post office.

“ No， fits， Nilson，“whispers Amerlia as she hands him her favorite froggy coin purse.

He’s patient waiting for the train and even holds the door.
他會耐心等候列車的到來甚至握住門先讓媽媽和Amerlia先上車。
But on the train someone else has a banana，Uh-oh！
但是在列車上，Nilson看見有人拿著個香蕉。噢喔！
Nilson really wants a banana， too！
Nilson也想要個香蕉。
“No fits， Nilson！”hushes Amelias‘s mom.
“不可以這樣的，Nilson”Amelias的媽媽噓噓地說。
“If you both sit quietly，we’ll get banana ice cream on the way home.”
”如果你們兩個都安靜的坐著，我們可以在回家的路上買個香蕉冰淇淋給你們的。
Amelia covers Nilson‘s mouth and stares him down with a gorilla eye lock，
Amelia捂住Nilson的嘴巴，睜大眼睛凝視Nilson叫他安靜地坐著。
repeating the words banana ice cream over and over.
嘴里碎碎念著香蕉冰淇淋，香蕉冰淇淋。
At last！ Their stop！At the ice-cream truck Nilson places his order.
最后，他們在冰淇淋車停下了。Nilson點了他喜歡的香蕉冰淇淋。
“Here you go， last scoop of banana， folks！”
“給你，最后一勺的香蕉味冰淇淋了，叉子！”
sings Albert the ice-cream man.
買冰淇淋的Albert叔叔說。
Amerlia can’t believe it.
Amerlia難以相信香蕉冰淇淋買完的這個事實。
She stomps .
她跺腳。
She growls，she roars.
她咆哮，她狂叫。
“I WANT A BANANA ICE CREAM！”
“我要香蕉冰淇淋”
That‘s when Nilson hands her his ice cream.
就在這個時候，Nilson伸手將的香蕉冰淇淋到Amelia面前。
“No fits， Amelia！” he says.
“不可以這樣的，Amelia！”他說。
“I’ll get chocolate instead.”
”我會要個巧克力冰淇淋代替的。“
“Thank you”，Amelia peeps.
”謝謝你，”Amelia不好意思地說。
They both share cones， and guess what？

They have a new favorite flavor！

Choco-Banana-Twist！

That night Amelia gives Nilson an extra hug.

“I love you，No fits Nilson！” she whispers.

大的紅色棒棒糖
I’m so excited i run all the way home form school.
我很興奮地從學(xué)校跑回家。
Ami ！I’ve been invited to a birthday party！
媽媽！我被邀請去參加生日派對。
There’s going to be games and toys ，cake and ice cream！ Can i go？”
那里會有游戲，玩家和冰淇淋！我可以去嗎？
Sana screams ，”I wanna go too！”
Sana喊著說，我也想去！
Ami says， ”what’s a birthday party？” “It’s where they celebrate the day they born.”
媽媽說：“什么是生日派對？”“就是慶祝他們出生的日子�！�
“Why do they do that？” “They just do！ Can i go？”
“為什么要慶祝呢？”“他們就是要這樣做！我可以去嗎？”
Sana screams ，”I wanna go too！” “I can’t take her！ She’s not invited.”
Sana喊著說，我也想去！“我不可以帶她去！她沒有被邀請�！�
“Why not？” says Ami. “They don’t do that there！”
“為什么不可以呢？”媽媽說。“他們都沒有帶人去��！”
Ami says ，”well， that’s not fair. You call up your friend and ask if you can bringSana， or else you can’t go.”
媽媽說，好吧，這是不公平的，你打電話給你的朋友并問她是否可以帶Sana去，否則你就不可以去。”
“But Ami！ They’ll laugh at me！ They’ll never invite me to another party again！”
“但是媽媽！她們會笑我的！她們再也不會邀請我去其他的生日派對了�！�
Sana screams.“I wanna go too！”
Sana喊著說，我也想去！
I say，” Look， Sana， one day you’ll get invited to your own friends’ party. Wouldn’t you like that better？”
我說，”Sana，聽著，有一天你也會收到你自己的朋友邀請去派對呢。難道你不覺得那時候去更好嗎？
“No！ I wanna go now！”
“不，我就想現(xiàn)在去！”
I beg and plead. but Ami won’t listen. I have no choice. I have to call.
我又乞求有央求媽媽，但是媽媽就是不聽。我沒有選擇，只能打電話。
Sally says，”All right.”But it doesn’t sound all right. I know she thinks I’m weird.
Sally說可以的。但是聽她的語氣并不怎么ok。我知道她是怎樣想的，我們很奇怪連妹妹都帶來參加派對。
At the party， I’m the only one who brought her little sister.
在派對上，只有我是帶著妹妹來參加派對的。
Sana has to win all the games. And where she falls down during musical chairs. she cries like a baby.
Sana一定要贏所有的游戲，并且在玩音樂槍椅子的游戲里，她坐不到椅子摔在地上。她還像個小孩那樣大哭。
Before we leave the party. Sally’s mom gives us little bags.
我們離開派對之前，Sally的媽媽給了我們一小包東西。
Inside there are chocolates and candies. A whistle a ruby ring and a big red lollipop！
里面有巧克力和糖果。一個哨子和紅寶石的戒子和一個大的紅色棒棒糖。
Sana eats her big red lollipop on the way home in the car. I save mine for later.

By bedtime， her candies are all gone. Her whistle is broken，and the ruby in her ring is missing.

I put my big red lollipop on the top shelf of the fridge to have in the morning.

All night i dream about how good it will taste.

In the morning ， I get up early to have it.Sana’s already up.

When she sees me， she runs away.
當(dāng)她見到我的時候，她就跑開。
I open the fridge door.
我打開冰箱們。
All that’s left of my lollipop is a triangle stuck to a stick.
我的棒棒糖剩下的是一個三角形卡在棍子里的棒棒糖。
“SANA！”
“SANA！”
I hear a sound in the front hall closet. I should have known that’s where she always hides.
我聽到廳的櫥柜前面有聲音。我應(yīng)該知道那是她經(jīng)常躲藏的地方。
I show aside the coats and boots，“I’m going to get you！”
我在旁邊穿起衣服和靴子，“我要來捉你啦！”
Quick as a rat， she scoots through my legs and runs around and around the living room. The dining room the kitchen yelling.”Ami！Ami！ Help ！Help！”
快得像只老鼠，她從我的腿溜走，在客廳跑來跑去。從客廳到廚房跑大聲喊著媽媽，媽媽，救命。
Ami comes out ， rubbing her eyes， Sanaruns behind Amid， Where i can’t get her.
媽媽出來，揉這眼睛，Sana跑到媽媽后面，在我捉不到她的地方。
“What’s going on out here ？”says Ami.
媽媽說“這里發(fā)生什么事啦？”
Sana says，”Rubina’s trying to get me！”
Sana說，“Rubina要捉我！”
Ami puts her hands on her hips，“Are you trying to get your little sister again ？”
媽媽將手放在她的臂部“你還要捉你的妹妹嗎？
“She ate my lollipop！ The greedy thing！ She ate it！”
“她吃了我的棒棒糖！她很貪心��！她吃了！”
Ami says “For shame！ It’s just a lollipop ！Can’t you share with your little sister？”
媽媽說“真羞恥��！為了一個棒棒糖吵架！難道你不可以跟你的妹妹分享��？”
I want to cry， but i don’t！”
我想哭，但是我沒有。
Sana runs to the fridge and brings back the triangle stuck to the stick.
Sana跑去冰箱拿出那個只有一個三角形卡在棍子里的棒棒糖。
“Look I didn’t eat all your lollipop！ I left the triangle for you.
“看我沒有吃完所有你的棒棒糖，我留了個三角形給你啊。”
“See ？” Says Ami.“she didn’t eat all fo it. She’s haring with you！Go ahead. Take the triangle .”
”看見了嗎？媽媽說，她沒有全部吃完，她有跟你分享。拿著，這個三角形棒棒糖。”
So I have to take it.
所以我必需要拿這它。
“Go ahead， Eat the triangle.”
“繼續(xù)，吃你的三角形棒棒糖�！�
But i don’t. With all my might， i throw it across the room. It skitters under the sofa.
但是我沒有，用盡我的力氣，我把它仍在房間里。它粘在沙發(fā)底下面。
Sana scurries after it and eats that too.
Sana急忙撿起然后吃掉它。
The worst thing is that all the girls at school know if they invite me to their birthday parties， I have to bring Sana.
最糟糕的是學(xué)校的所有女同學(xué)都知道如果她們邀請我去生日派對，我一定要帶我妹妹Sana去。
I don’t get any invitation for a really long time.
我真的一段長時間沒有接到邀請。
Then one day Sanacomes home waving an invitation.
然而有一天，Sana回家?guī)н@一個邀請涵。
“Ami！ I’ve been invited to a birthday party！ There’s going to be games and toys and cake and ice cream！ Can i go？”
媽媽！我被邀請去參加生日派對。那里會有游戲，玩家和冰淇淋！我可以去嗎？
Our little sister Maryam scream，” I wanna go too！”
我們最小的妹妹Maryam喊著說，我也想去！
Sana says，” No ！ I can’t take her！ She’s not invited！”
Sana“我不可以帶她去！她沒有被邀請。
Ami says，“Well....it’s only fair . You went to Rubina’s friend’s party.now Rubina and Maryam can go to your friend’s party.”
媽媽說，好吧，為了公平，你去了Rubina的朋友的派對，現(xiàn)在Rubinahe Maryam也去你的朋友的派對。
I say，“Leave me out of it.”
我說“把我剔除把�！�
Ami says，“Fine then， you have to take Maryam.”
媽媽說，“好的，那么你一定要帶Maryam去。”
Now it’s Sana’s turn to beg and plead. Ami won’t listen.Sana’s begging so hard she’s crying， but still Ami won’t listen.
現(xiàn)在輪到Sana乞求和央求媽媽。但是媽媽不聽。Sana哭著央求媽媽，但是媽媽還是不聽。
I could just watch her have to take Maryam. I could just let her make a fool of herself at the party.
我可以眼睜睜地看著她帶Maryam去派對。我可以讓她在派對里像個傻子那樣。
I could just let her not be invited to any more parties. But something makes me tap Ami on the shoulder.
我可以讓不再收到任何派對的邀請。但是某只情緒讓我拍了媽媽的肩膀。
“What？” “ Don’t make Sana take Maryam to the paty.”
“怎么啦？不要讓Sana帶Maryam去派對了。”
“No？” says Ami. “No.” I say.
“不要？”媽媽說。 “是的，不要�！蔽艺f。
Ami thinks for a moment. Then say ，” Okay.”
媽媽想了一會兒，然后說，“好吧�！�
So Sana gets to go by herself.
于是Sana自己去了同學(xué)的派對。
After the party， I hear a knock on my door.
派對之后，我聽到有人敲我的房門。
“What do you want？” I ask Sana.
“你想要拿什么呢？”我問Sana。
“ Here.’ she hands me a big green lollipop.” That is for you.”
“給你，他給我一個大的綠色的棒棒糖。這是給你的。”
“Thanks.” I says.
“謝謝，”我說。
After that we’re friends.
從此之后，我們變成好朋友了。
