“You are what you say。” The old saying informs us that people tend to judge other people by what they are saying--their knowledge， their personality， and even their capability。
To develop one‘s speaking skills， there are three steps one should pay full attention to。 First， we should maintain a sufficient amount of reading and listening。 Without reading and listening， we have no material to speak。 Second， we should imitate the examples and patterns that we appreciate。 To copy those who speak better than we do is the fastest and easiest way to improve our speaking。 Third， when we have our mode of communication， we should think more before we speak。 That is， we start to aware our speaking style--our words， our tones， our sentences--the message expressed through our mouths。
