The tall blind person touched the elephant's ear and yelled: “ No, no, no. The elephant is a big fan!”

The short blind person touched the elephant's leg. He said: “ You are all wrong! The elephant is a pillar.”

The old blind person said: “ The elephant is not that big. It's just like a rope.” He was touching the elephant's tail.

The four blind people were arguing endlessly. Each of them said he himself was right. We all know that none of them is right.
四個盲人爭吵不休，都說自己摸到的才是大象真正的樣子。而實(shí)際上呢?他們一個也沒說對。
這個故事告訴我們：不能只看到事物的一部分，而應(yīng)看全局，那樣才能全面和真實(shí)的了解事物的情況。
We should look at the whole picture instead of only seeing part of it. Only in that way can we fully and truly understand the situation of things.

Another Fox, happening to pass that way, came and asked him what the matter was; and, on learning the state of the case, said, “Well, my friend, I see nothing for it but for you to stay where you are till you shrink to your former size; you'll get out then easily enough.”

Another guy walks into the bar with a Chihuahua. The first guys sees him, stops him and says You can't bring that dog in here unless you tell him it's a seeing-eye dog.

The second man graciously thanks the first man and continues to the bar. He asks for a drink. The bartender says Hey, you can't bring that dog in here!
第二個人謝過了第一個人，走向吧臺。他要一杯飲料。招待說：“嗨，你不能把那只狗帶進(jìn)來!”
The second man replies This is my seeing-eye dog. The bartender says, No, I don't think so. They do not have Chihuahuas as seeing-eye dogs.

The man pauses for a half-second and replies What?They gave me a Chihuahua?!?
