教學(xué)內(nèi)容
Fun Time
1.這個(gè)故事講的是小丑帶著馬戲團(tuán)的一只大象去動(dòng)物園,在街上碰見了Lily和Bill,他們與大象結(jié)成為好朋友。大象在過(guò)馬路時(shí),從街對(duì)面過(guò)來(lái)一個(gè)推著自行車的行人,自行車上帶著一些香蕉,該行人與大象打過(guò)招呼后就過(guò)了馬路。這時(shí)大象突然停在馬路當(dāng)中不走了,小丑、Lily和Bill使勁推它,它不動(dòng),警察也過(guò)來(lái)幫忙,它還是不動(dòng)。這時(shí)街對(duì)面的交通燈變成了綠色的,大象擋住了所有南來(lái)北往的車輛。怎么辦?Bill想出了一個(gè)好主意,把大象引過(guò)了馬路。是什么主意呢?請(qǐng)學(xué)生猜一猜。(答案:用香蕉引大象過(guò)馬路。)
2.學(xué)生通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)故事,復(fù)習(xí)本單元的交際用語(yǔ):Where are you going?
3.通過(guò)本故事的學(xué)習(xí),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識(shí)觀察和判斷的能力。如:觀察故事中交通燈的變化(可以用到在第28課中學(xué)到的有關(guān)交通燈的知識(shí)),大象為什么停在馬路中間不走了(懂得大象的生活習(xí)性)等。
4.故事中新的語(yǔ)言項(xiàng)目是:Why are you stopping here? Move, elephant.Let's go together.
5.本部分學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容的難點(diǎn)是:move單詞的讀音和move單詞中字母v的讀音。
6.課堂操作語(yǔ)言建議:
圖1 This is a story about an elephant.What do you see in picture 1? Or what do you see in the street? ( I can see ….or There is ….)OK.The clown rides the elephant.They meet Lily and Bill in the street.The clown introduces Elephant to Bill and Lily.He says,“Hi, Bill and Lily.This is my friend, Elephant.”Bill and Lily say to elephant,“Hello, Elephant.”
圖2 Look at picture 2.Do you know where they are going? Let's guess.OK! They are going to the zoo.
圖3 Look at picture 3.Bill and Lily ride the elephant, too.What colour is the traffic light now? ( ….)Yes.The traffic light is getting green.The clown says,“The traffic light is green.Let's go.”
圖4 What do you see in picture 4? ( I see)A man trundles a bike toward the elephant.There are some bananas on the bike.He says to the elephant,“Hi, Elephant! ”The traffic light is yellow.What happens now? Look at picture 5, please.

教學(xué)建議
1.教師出示教學(xué)掛圖或讓學(xué)生看課本,建議將學(xué)生分成小組,以組為單位對(duì)故事圖畫進(jìn)行觀察,并根據(jù)圖討論故事大意。(這樣做的好處是能夠幫助學(xué)習(xí)能力弱的學(xué)生積極參與課堂學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)。)
2.讓學(xué)生用中文說(shuō)一說(shuō)對(duì)故事的理解。
3.教師指教學(xué)掛圖,用學(xué)生易接受的英文和形體動(dòng)作,整體介紹故事內(nèi)容。目前,學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ)已經(jīng)有了一些感性認(rèn)識(shí),教師在整體介紹故事內(nèi)容時(shí),應(yīng)注意與學(xué)生進(jìn)行交流,幫助學(xué)生運(yùn)用學(xué)過(guò)的語(yǔ)言,以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生主動(dòng)參與語(yǔ)言實(shí)踐活動(dòng)的意識(shí)(參考課堂操作語(yǔ)言建議)。
4.教師讓學(xué)生看教學(xué)掛圖、聽錄音,并根據(jù)錄音內(nèi)容試著指出相應(yīng)的圖。
5.學(xué)生看教學(xué)掛圖,根據(jù)錄音重復(fù)語(yǔ)句,教師應(yīng)鼓勵(lì)能夠重復(fù)錄音中句子的學(xué)生。
6.讓學(xué)生多聽?zhēng)妆殇浺,在理解的基礎(chǔ)上,重復(fù)聽到的句子(建議目前仍不限制學(xué)生具體能說(shuō)哪一句話),在重復(fù)的同時(shí)學(xué)生可以根據(jù)自己的理解做出相應(yīng)的動(dòng)作。
7.如果每一幅圖的語(yǔ)言都已經(jīng)有學(xué)生會(huì)說(shuō),就可以進(jìn)行角色表演。
8.角色扮演時(shí)應(yīng)在教室里布置場(chǎng)景,并準(zhǔn)備故事中需要的道具。
9.為了使每個(gè)學(xué)生都參與活動(dòng),角色扮演時(shí)應(yīng)采取group work的形式,并給每個(gè)孩子適當(dāng)?shù)谋頁(yè)P(yáng)。
