Great changes have taken place in people’s life in the past 20 years . In the past people kept in touch with friends mainly by sending letters.but now people keep in touch with friends by telephone or on the internet .they got news or information by listening to radio ,now they can get information by watching TV . The students went to school and people went out on foot or by bike . now they can take a bus or ride bikes . In the past people’s rooms were dark and small ,now they have built more and more tall and bright buildings , even some rich people can rent apartments , The transportations were very terrible and dangerous . the streets were narrow and dirty ,now the transportations are good ,comfortable and safe .the streets are wide and clean.
