他有自己的小金庫。
►squirrel away 貯存；把…存起備用；藏匿
Squirrel作名詞時(shí)是松鼠的意思。松鼠喜歡把找到的食物藏在它們挖的洞里，以備日后需用，于是這就產(chǎn)生了習(xí)慣用語 squirrel away。這里的squirrel是動(dòng)詞，squirrel away形象生動(dòng)地描繪人們把錢或者別的值錢東西儲(chǔ)存在安全的地方，以備不時(shí)之需。
2. It’s a fool’s errand trying to do that.
傻子才會(huì)那么做。
►fool's errand 白費(fèi)力的事，徒勞
e.g. He sent me on a fool's errand . 他派我去干白費(fèi)力的事。
3. You have no business interfering.
你無權(quán)干涉。
4. He dismissed the idea out of hand.
