【篇一：老鼠開(kāi)會(huì)】
Long ago, there was a big cat in the house. He caught many mice while they were stealing food.
從前，一所房子里面有一只大貓，他抓住了很多偷東西的老鼠。
One day the mice had a meeting to talk about the way to deal with their common enemy. Some said this, and some said that.
一天，老鼠在一起開(kāi)會(huì)商量如何對(duì)付他們共同的敵人。會(huì)上大家各有各的主張，最后，一只小老鼠站出來(lái)說(shuō)他有一個(gè)好主意。
At last a young mouse got up, and said that he had a good idea.
最后，一只小老鼠站出來(lái)說(shuō)他有一個(gè)好主意。
"We could tie a bell around the neck of the cat. Then when he comes near, we can hear the sound of the bell, and run away."
“我們可以在貓的脖子上綁一個(gè)鈴鐺，那么如果他來(lái)到附近，我們聽(tīng)到鈴聲就可以馬上逃跑�！�
Everyone approved of this proposal, but an old wise mouse got up and said, "That is all very well, but who will tie the bell to the cat?" The mice looked at each other, but nobody spoke.
大家都贊同這個(gè)建議，這時(shí)一只聰明的老耗子站出來(lái)說(shuō)：“這的確是個(gè)絕妙的主意，但是誰(shuí)來(lái)給貓的脖子上綁鈴鐺呢?”老鼠們面面相覷，誰(shuí)也沒(méi)有說(shuō)話。
【篇二：畫(huà)龍點(diǎn)睛】
Mr. Li is a good painter. One day he draws a beautiful dragon without eyes.
李先生是位很好的畫(huà)家。一天畫(huà)了一條栩栩如生的龍，但是這只龍沒(méi)有眼睛。
Mr. Zhou looks at the picture and says, “The dragon has no eyes. It isn’t a good picture.”
周先生見(jiàn)了說(shuō)：“這條龍沒(méi)有眼睛。這不算一張好畫(huà)�！�
But Mr. Li smiles and says, “If I add eyes to the dragon, it will fly away.”
可是李先生笑著說(shuō)：“如果我給它加上眼睛，它就會(huì)飛走了�！�
Mr. Zhou shakes head and says, “You are boasting. I don’t believe you.”
周先生搖頭說(shuō)：“你吹牛。我不相信�！�
Mr. Li isn’t angry. He holds the paintbrush and adds eyes to the dragon. Woe! The dragon really flies.
李先生也不生氣，只是拿起筆給龍點(diǎn)上眼睛。哇!龍真的飛走了。
【篇三：我該怎樣謝你】
One day, a poor man is taking a bag of rice to a town. The rice is on the back of his horse but it falls down. The rice is too heavy to lift and he doesn’t know what to do. He only hopes someone can give him some help.
一天，一個(gè)窮人正帶著一袋米去鎮(zhèn)上。大米放在馬背上但它掉了下來(lái)。大米太重了抬不動(dòng)，窮人不知怎么辦才好。他只想有人會(huì)給他些幫助。
After a while, a man riding a horse comes. But he is a rich man living nearby. The poor man hopes another farmer will come. But the rich man sees him and says to him, “You need my help, right?” And he helps the poor man lift the rice onto the horse’s back.
過(guò)了一會(huì)兒，一個(gè)人騎著馬走過(guò)來(lái)。但是他是住在附近的一個(gè)富人。窮人希望另一個(gè)農(nóng)民過(guò)來(lái)。但是富人看到了他并對(duì)他說(shuō)，“你需要幫助，對(duì)嗎？”他幫窮人把米抬到馬背上。
“Sir, how can I repay you?” the poor man says.
“我該怎樣謝你呢，先生？”窮人說(shuō)。
“It’s easy, when you see anyone else in trouble, do the same for him.”
“這很簡(jiǎn)單，當(dāng)你看到其他人遇到麻煩時(shí)，你可為他做同樣的事情�！�
