Punctuality

To the punctual means to do what you should do on time.

A punctual person is never late for his appointments,

which is especially important in the current fast- developing society.

To workers,time is money.To students, time is knowledge.

Therefore punctua- lity is of great importance for every one of us.

A punctual person always cherishes his own time and seldom complains.

However, an unpunctual man is always wasting his time

and complaining that he finds no time to answer letters,

return calls or keep appointments on time

He never does what he had to do at the proper time.

Surely everyone wants to be a punctual person

but it is actually not easy.

To do this one should learn to keep every appointment promptly

and deal with every piece of work as quickly as one can.

Let's try to be punctual and keep this in mind:

a man who is known to be habitually unpunctual

is never trusted by his friends or colleagues.

守時(shí)

守時(shí)的意思是準(zhǔn)時(shí)去做你該做的事。

一個(gè)守時(shí)的人有按時(shí)做事的習(xí)慣，約會(huì)從來不會(huì)遲到。

這一點(diǎn)在目前這個(gè)高速發(fā)展的社會(huì)中尤其重要。

對(duì)工人來說，時(shí)間就是產(chǎn)品；對(duì)學(xué)生來說，時(shí)間就是知識(shí)。

所以，守時(shí)對(duì)我們每個(gè)人都很重要。

一個(gè)守時(shí)的人通常很珍惜自己的時(shí)間，很少抱怨。

然而，一個(gè)不守時(shí)的人通常浪費(fèi)自己的時(shí)間，

還常抱怨沒有時(shí)間復(fù)信

沒有時(shí)間回電話或準(zhǔn)時(shí)赴約。

他從來都不在適當(dāng)?shù)臅r(shí)間做應(yīng)該做的事。

當(dāng)然每個(gè)人都想成為守時(shí)的人，

但實(shí)際上做起來并不容易。

為了做到這一點(diǎn)我們應(yīng)該學(xué)會(huì)準(zhǔn)時(shí)赴約，

盡快地處理每一項(xiàng)工作
