【第一篇：狗狗遭遇暴風(fēng)雨】

a. Hi, I'm Emily. On Saturday, my dog Clifford takes me to visit my Grandma. After lunch, the radio says a big storm is coming.
嗨，我是Emily!星期六，我的狗狗Clifford帶我去看望奶奶。午飯后，收音機(jī)說一場大暴風(fēng)雨即將來臨。
b. We have to move to a safer place.
我們不得不搬去一個較安全的地方。
c. Now we are safe. But Clifford knows Grandma is worried about her house.
現(xiàn)在我們安全了。但是Clifford知道奶奶在擔(dān)心她的房子。
d. He hurries back to Grandma's house. The storm is too big. Trees are falling down. But it can't stop him.
他匆忙往奶奶家趕。暴風(fēng)雨太大，樹都倒了，但是這并不能阻止他。
e. Grandma's house is in great danger. Clifford has to do something.
奶奶的房子處在極大的危險中，Clifford必須做點(diǎn)什么。
f. First he picks up some trees.
首先，他撿起一些樹。
g. Then he puts the trees behind Grandma's house. He covers them with sand. He builds a sand hill to save Grandma's house.
然后，他把樹放在奶奶的房子后面，再用沙把樹蓋住。他堆起了一座沙山來保住奶奶的房子。
h. The storm stops. Grandma and I go back to the house. We are so happy to be together again.
暴風(fēng)雨停了。我和奶奶回到了家。我們又在一起了，真高興啊!
【第二篇：狗狗超極大營救】
有一天，Emily 和 她的狗狗Clifford 散步的時候，一輛汽車飛馳而過，一輛警車緊隨其后。原來是警察在抓強(qiáng)盜呢!Clifford 非常興奮，展示本領(lǐng)的機(jī)會又來了……
Clifford to the rescue
a: Hi, I'm Emily. My dog Clifford likes to eat and to play. And he likes to help.
嗨!我叫Emily。我的狗狗Clifford喜歡吃和玩，他還喜歡幫助人。
b: One day, Clifford and I are walking. A car passes us quickly.
有一天，我和Clifford在散步的時候，一輛汽車從我們身旁飛快駛過。
c: A police car comes right behind it. The police are chasing robbers.
一輛警車緊隨其后，警察在追強(qiáng)盜。
d: Clifford takes me on his back. He runs as fast as he can.
Clifford把我馱在背上，他盡可能快地往前跑。
e: He catches the robbers.
他抓到了強(qiáng)盜。
f: The policemen are happy. They thank Clifford for his help. I'm so proud of my big red dog!
警察非常高興。他們感謝Clifford的幫忙。我為我的大紅狗感到很驕傲!
【第三篇：狗狗求職記】
1. Hi, I'm Emily. I love my dog Clifford a lot. But he eats a lot of food. And a lot of food costs a lot of money.
嗨!我是 Emily。我很愛我的狗狗 Clifford。但是他要吃很多狗糧，所以就要花很多錢。
2. Mum and Dad are very worried. "We will have to send Clifford away," they say. Clifford doesn't want to go away. He decides to get a job and pay for his own food.
媽媽和爸爸很發(fā)愁。“我們將不得不把 Clifford 送出去，”他們說。Clifford 不想離開，他決定要找份工作，自己掙錢買吃的。
3. We go to a farm. The farmer says Clifford can work for him. Clifford brings a wagon full of hay. He is doing well.
我們?nèi)チ艘粋�農(nóng)場，農(nóng)場主說 Clifford 可以為他工作。Clifford 拉了滿滿一車干草，他干得不錯。
4. Then he sees a rat running to the barn. Clifford chases the rat.
然后，他看見一只老鼠朝谷倉跑去，他就去追趕老鼠。
5. Oh, Clifford is too big, he destroys the barn. The farmer is angry and asks Clifford to leave.
哦!Clifford 太大了，把谷倉都撐壞了。農(nóng)場主一怒之下把 Clifford 趕走了。
6. We feel sad. Suddenly a car goes past us fast. And right behind it comes a police car. They are chasing robbers! Clifford runs fast and catches the robbers.
我們感到難過。突然一輛汽車從我們身邊飛馳而過，后面緊跟著一輛警車，警察在追強(qiáng)盜!Clifford飛快地跑起來，抓住了強(qiáng)盜。
7. "Good job! You can work as a police dog," says the policeman. Clifford is happy.
警察說：“干得漂亮!你可以做我們的警犬�！盋lifford好開心。
8. Now Clifford goes to work every day. They don't pay him money. But every week, they send Clifford a lot of dog food. So we can keep him.
現(xiàn)在 Clifford 每天去上班。警察并不付給他錢，但是每周他們會給 Clifford 送來很多狗糧。這樣，我們可以養(yǎng)得起他了。
