【第一篇:油漆未干】
Mr Black is walking in the park and he is very tired. He looks around and sees a chair in the distance. So he walks towards the chair.

As Mr Black is walking, he sees a man going to the chair, too. He thinks, “The man also wants to sit on the chair. I must go quickly.” So he walks faster. But the man also walks faster. Mr Black starts to run and the man starts to run, too. However, Mr Black is a little faster than the man. He gets to the chair first and sits on it. Just then, the man also reaches the chair. He raises a small board in his hands. It says, “Wet Paint.”

【第二篇:聰明的人頭發(fā)少】
Jack is not old, but he does not have much hair. His wife Helen has thick and black hair.
杰克年齡不大,但他卻沒有多少頭發(fā)。他的妻子海倫則有一頭又密又黑的頭發(fā)。
They have a son. His name is Peter, and he is five years old.
他們有一個兒子。他的名字叫彼得,是一個五歲的小男孩。
One day, Jack is reading a book in his room. Peter looks at his father for long time and says to his mother, “Why does father have so little hair, mum?” “He has little hair because he thinks a lot. He is a very clever man.” Helen says with a smile.

【第三篇:吉姆—我的愛犬】
I have a little dog, its name is Jim. Early every morning Jim goes to the shop in the village. The girl in the shop gives him tow things: a sweet and a newspaper, then he runs home.
我有一只可愛的小狗,他的名字叫吉姆。每天一大早吉姆都會去鄉(xiāng)村的商店里。商店里的女孩給他兩樣?xùn)|西:一塊糖和一份報紙。然后他就跑回家。
I like reading my newspaper before I get up. Jim knows that and he brings the newspaper to my bedroom. When I am eating my breakfast he brings all the letters to me. After that, he goes out to wait for the bus. When he sees the bus coming down the road, he makes a noise. I run out, and the bus stops for me. Jim never lets me miss the bus.

【第四篇:說夢話】
Mr Green always talks in his sleep. One morning the Greens get up. Mr Green sits at the table, his wife, Mrs Green asks him, “Why did you always talk in your sleep?”
格林先生總愛說夢話。一天早上格林一家起床后,格林先生坐在飯桌旁。他的妻子,格林夫人問他,“你為什么總在睡覺時說話?”
Mr Green says, “Because I have little chance to talk in the daytime.”

The next morning their children all go to school. Mrs Green asks her husband angrily, “Wait a moment! Why did you scold me in your sleep last night?” “Because I don’t have the courage to do it when I’m awake,” said Mr Green.
第二天早上他們的孩子都去上學(xué)了。格林夫人生氣地問她的丈夫,“等等!你昨天晚上睡覺的時候為什么責(zé)罵我?”“因為醒著的時候沒有勇氣那樣做!备窳窒壬f道。
【第五篇:我是她父親】
Many boys and girls in western countries are wearing the same clothes. Many of them have long hair, so it is hard to tell whether they are boys or girls.
在西方國家,許多男孩和女孩都穿著同樣的衣服。他們中許多人都留長發(fā),所以很難分辨他們是男孩還是女孩。
One day an old man is sitting on a chair near a pool. A person is beside him. The old man asks the person, “Is it a boy or a girl in the pool?” The person answers, “A girl , she is my daughter.” “Oh, sorry,” the old man says, “I didn’t know you were her mother.” “You are wrong,” the person says, “I’m her father.”
