The Hurun Research Institute and China CITIC Bank Private Banking have jointly published a report titled "Going Global: Trends of Chinese High Net Worth Individuals 2016," National Business Daily reported on Nov. 7.

　　The report shows that as of May 2016, there were 1.34 million multimillionaires in the Chinese mainland, 10.7 percent more than last year. Of these, 89,000 are billionaires, up 14.1 percent from last year.
　　報(bào)告顯示，截至2016年5月，中國(guó)大陸有134萬(wàn)名千萬(wàn)富翁，比去年增長(zhǎng)了10.7%。其中，89000人是億萬(wàn)富翁，比去年增長(zhǎng)14.1%。
　　According to data from China’s National Bureau of Statistics, the country’s total population was about 1.368 billion at the end of 2014. Multimillionaires (billionaires included) now make up about 0.1 percent of the total population.
　　根據(jù)中國(guó)國(guó)家統(tǒng)計(jì)局的數(shù)據(jù)，2014年底中國(guó)總?cè)丝诩s為13.68億�，F(xiàn)在，千萬(wàn)富翁(包括億萬(wàn)富翁)占總?cè)丝诘?.1%。
　　Guangdong province replaced Beijing to become the place with the most multimillionaires this year. There are about 240,000 people in Guangdong with assets worth more than 10 million RMB. Guangdong is followed by Beijing, Shanghai and Zhejiang province.
　　廣東省取代北京成為今年千萬(wàn)富翁最多的地方。廣東省約有24萬(wàn)人，資產(chǎn)價(jià)值超過(guò)1000萬(wàn)元人民幣。其次是北京、上海和浙江省。
　　Though outpaced by Guangdong in overall numbers, Beijing is the city with the highest density of multimillionaires. There are 1.1 multimillionaires for every 100 people. Shanghai, Jilin province and Zhejiang province follow Beijing for multimillionaire density.
　　雖然廣東在總數(shù)上超過(guò)了北京，但是北京是千萬(wàn)富翁人口密度的城市。每100人有1.1個(gè)千萬(wàn)富翁。千萬(wàn)富翁密度其次為上海、吉林和浙江省。
　　Wealthy indviduals have more diverse and flexible options when it comes to assets allocation. One of the most prominent trends this year is multimillionaires investing overseas. Indeed, the Hurun list revealed that nearly 50 percent of multimillionaires plan to continue investing overseas. In addition to foreign exchange deposits, insurance products are also a favored investment choice.
