在使用比較級的時(shí)候，為使比較的程度更加確切，可以在比較級前加上一些修飾語，這些修飾語有：
　　1．?dāng)?shù)詞短語，用來表示具體的數(shù)量

　　My sister is two years older than I.

　　2．a(chǎn) little, a bit表示“一點(diǎn)兒”，稍微之意

　　She is a little shorter than Han Mei.

　　This book is a bit thicker than that one.

　　3．some（肯定句），any（否定句、疑問句），表“…一些”

　　I’m feeling some better.

　　The man was too tired to go any farther.

　　4. much, a lot, by far表示“…得多”

　　Out school is much more beautiful than it was before.

　　5．Still, even表“…更…”，“…還是…”

　　My watch is expensive, but this is even more expensive

　　注：very, quite,more等詞一般用來修飾形容詞、副詞的原級，不能用來修飾比較級。
