1977年8月1日，發(fā)行建軍50周年紀念郵票1套5枚，分別為“加速我軍現(xiàn)代化革命化建設”、“井岡山軍旗紅”、“游擊健兒勇”、“雄師過大江”、“鋼鐵長城”，面值均為8分。
1978年8月1日，發(fā)行了《向硬骨頭六連學習》的特種郵票1套3枚，分別是“發(fā)揚革命傳統(tǒng)”、“苦練殺敵本領”、“反修防修的鐵拳”，面值均為8分。
1987年8月1日，發(fā)行了1套以三軍士兵形象為圖案的紀念郵票，分別是“軍魂”、“陸軍戰(zhàn)士”、“海軍戰(zhàn)士”、“空軍戰(zhàn)士”4枚，面值為8分、8分、10分、30分。
1990年8月1日，發(fā)行了紀念郵票1套2枚，分別為“閩西交通總局赤色郵花”和“中華蘇維埃郵政郵票戰(zhàn)士圖”，面值為8分和20分。
1995年8月1日，1套名為“神圣的使命”的軍郵問世。這套郵票僅1枚，郵票呈紅色，故俗稱“紅軍郵”。它在沈陽軍區(qū)駐東北三省的義務兵中試用，后發(fā)現(xiàn)不易管理，于1997年4月15日停用。
1997年8月1日，郵電部隆重推出了中國人民解放軍建軍70周年紀念郵票1套5枚，票名分別是“陸軍”、“海軍”、“空軍”、“戰(zhàn)略導彈部隊”和“陸�？章�(lián)合作戰(zhàn)演習”，前4枚面值50分，第5枚面值200分。這套郵票一改過去以人為主的模式，著重展示了我軍精良的現(xiàn)代化裝備。
