On Punctuality
Punctuality means observing regular or appointed time.A man who gets up at six o'clock every moming is punctual.A man who promises to call on a friend at five o'clock in the aftemoon and actually does so at that hour is also punctual.
The unpunctual man,on the other hand,never does what he has to do at the proper time.He is always complaining that he finds no time to answer letters,to return calls, or to keep appointments promptly.
Undoubtedly,unpunctuality is harmful.Getting up five minutes later than usual may upset the plan of the day.Calling on a friend five minutes later than the appointed time may cause unexpected trouble to both sides.Failure to be punctual is a sign of disrespect towards others.If a person is invited to a dinner but arrives later than expected,he keeps all the other guests and the host waiting for him alone.This is great impoliteness.Moreover,habitual unpunctuality leads to indolence and even failure in life.(170 words)
守時的意思是遵守規(guī)定的或約定的時間。一個人每天早晨都六點鐘起床是守時的。一個人承諾了要在下午五點鐘給朋友打電話，實際上他在那個時間也這么做了，那么他也是守時的。
另一方面，不守時的人，從來不會在合適的時間做他應(yīng)該去做的事。他總是埋怨沒時間準時地回信、回電話或遵守約定。
毫無疑問，不守時是有壞處的。比平時晚五分鐘起床通常會擾亂一天的計劃。給朋友打電話比約定時間晚了五分鐘可能會給雙方帶來意外的麻煩。不能做到守時是對他人不尊重的標志。如果一個人受邀去吃飯，卻比預(yù)期的時間晚到了，他讓主人和其他所有的客人都在等他一個人。這是非常不禮貌的。此外，習慣性地不守時會導(dǎo)致生活中的懶散甚至失敗。

Nowadays leisure activities are very popular among people.Different people prefer different types of entertainment depending on the season， their personality and income.Some people like to spend their leisure time relaxing indoors，pursuing their hobbies.Others look for outdoor relaxation.
In the spring when it is warm，nature becomes more and more beautiful with trees and grass turning green and all the flowers blossoming.It is a good time for people to go sightseeing，boating， and picnicking.In summer，it is too hot outdoors，so they like to stay at home，enjoying cold watertnelon or ice cream.
People who like reading will go to the library instead of visiting scenic spots.For them，books are everything.They‘d like to bury their heads in books，ignoring everything else.Contrary to these people， there are always individuals who require more exciting activities like rock c1imbing，bungee jumping，ballooning and so on.These attractions appeal to the sense of adventure that is typical of people.(163 words)

Firstly,there are more and more advertisements before the movies. For example,I have experienced thirty minutes' advertisements before the movie began.Secondly,the movies affect people is that they give people either a broader view of the world or an interesting one,depending on what type of programs they choose.For instance,those who watch news and educational programs can learn new things while those who watch entertainment shows can have great fun. Finally,perhaps the most susceptible viewers are children,who may be unable to tell fact from fiction and may try to imitate acts that they see in the movies.
